The police in the border town of Moreh has seized drugs worth Rs 24 crore in two separate incidents.
Contraband weighing 9 kilograms were seized from the possession of a man named Khamboumang.
In another seizure, brown sugar weighing 8 kg were seized from the possession of a person named Kumar Gurung, who was transporting the contraband in a vehicle.
It is worth mentioning here that it was just a couple of days back that in the biggest ever drug haul in the Northeastern region, drugs worth over Rs 166 crores were seized and a drug manufacturing factory was busted in Manipur.
