Manipur: CM Biren Singh Chairs Crucial Meeting with All MLAs Amid Ongoing Crisis

CM condemned the recent abduction of two youths by Kuki militants, vowing swift action for their rescue.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh chaired an important meeting with all the state’s MLAs at his Secretariat to discuss the ongoing crisis in Manipur. The meeting saw the participation of Congress MLAs, led by Congress Legislature Party leader Okram Ibobi, as well as MLAs from the NPF, NPP, and BJP.

Taking to X, CM N Biren Singh wrote, “Held a meeting with all the MLAs at the Secretariat today. Addressed the current situation in the state, particularly focusing on the rescue of two innocent youths abducted by Kuki militants. We condemn such heinous acts, and our government is working to ensure the safe release of the victims.”

The meeting highlighted the state’s commitment to addressing the situation and maintaining peace amidst ongoing tensions.
