Manipur is all set to host the first North East Olympic Games 2018 which will kick start from October 24.
The first North East Olympic Games 2018 is being organised by the Manipur Olympic Association under the aegis of North East Olympic Association and will continue till the 28th of this month.
Around 1500 players from the north eastern states are taking part in 12 different disciplines.
Manipur Olympic Association President and Education minister Th Radheshyam who is also the chairman of the organising committee besides Secretary Sunil Elangbam said that every measure is in place to ensure smooth functioning of the mega sporting event.
Meanwhile players have already arrived in Manipur to participate in the games and are hopeful of winning big in their respective sporting disciplines.
