The rampant poaching of rhinos in the state of Assam has garnered reactions not only from within the nation but also from across the globe.
England cricketer Kevin Pietersen tweeted on 14th May about the incident where a Rhino was killed by poachers in the Kaziranga National Park.
“INDIA – this has just happened in the last couple days in KAZIRANGA National Park! SICKENING!”, the cricketer tweeted.
This is the second time that the England batsman has raised the rhino poaching issue.
The national park lost its fourth rhino this year on May 11 when a rhino was poached at the Burahapahar range.
