Itanagar’s Lucey Haam wins Miss Trans NE 2022

Miss Trans Northeast 2022, the beauty and talent pageant to uplift the transgender community in Northeast India was held on November 30 in Guwahati

Lucey Haam from Itanagar bagged the title of Miss Trans NE 2022. Aria Deka from Guwahati was judged the first Runners Up and Rishidhya Sankarishan from Dibrugarh was second Runners Up.

Miss Trans Northeast 2022, the beauty and talent pageant to uplift the transgender community in Northeast India was held on November 30 in Guwahati.

The pageant was organised to provide a platform to members of the community from the eight Northeastern states to showcase their individuality and talent and empower them to voice their issues and experiences in their daily lives.

The pageant is focused at mainstreaming the Transgender community from the eight states of the Northeast. The event promoted the beauty and uniqueness of the heritage of NE India, national and international cultural awareness and community pride.
