India’s mission evacuation continues on a war footing. As many as 219 Indians were brought back safely to the country from Ukraine last night on a special Air India aircraft.

All passengers were given a warm welcome by Union Minister Piyush Goel. In fact, the Union Minister was seen extending his best wishes to the passengers and assuring them that their friends and other loved ones who are still stuck in Ukraine will be evacuated soon.

Goel said that the Indian government was in talks with both the Ukrainian and Russian governments for the smooth evacuation of the stranded Indians, and that there was nothing to worry about.

Meanwhile, another special Air India flight with as many as 250 Indian passengers on-board arrived in Delhi from Romania at around 3 AM this morning. All passengers were received by Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
