Guwahati: Murder convict on parole goes missing

Mondeep Rabha, had been lodged behind bars for the last 12 years
A murder convict, serving life imprisonment at the Guwahati Central Jail has reportedly gone missing while he was out on a one-month parole.
As per reports the, victim identified as Mondeep Rabha, a resident of Boko had been lodged behind bars for the last 12 years after he was found guilty in a murder case registered at a police station in Boko.
Mondeep came out of jail on parole a month ago to visit home. However, Rabha has not returned to jail even after his parole period got over.
Since he failed to meet his deadline, police suspect that he might be attempting to flee.
The police have initiated a search operation to trace him.
