Assam: 9 injured after Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi’s convoy meets with an accident in Silchar

As per inputs, as many as 9 Congress workers sustained injury in the accident

The convoy of Assam Member of Parliament (MP) and Deputy Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi met with an accident in Silchar in Cachar district of Assam this afternoon.

As per inputs, as many as 9 Congress workers sustained injury in the accident, however Gaurav Gogoi escaped the accident unhurt.

The accident occurred at Moinarbond area, when a bike rally with approximately 100 motor vehicles were taking MP Gogoi from Silchar’s Kumbhirgram Airport to Congress Bhavan.

During the rally, around 7 to 8 vehicles hit each other resulting in the accident.

On recieving information, Police rushed to the spot and took away the damaged vehicles.
