The two-member enquiry committee probing charges against suspended Manipur University Vice Chancellor Adya Prasad Pandey has issued a directive seeking a personal appearance of Pandey during the next hearing on October 29.
It has also been made clear in this respect that the Ministry of Human Resource Development can take all possible steps to enforce the appearance of Professor Pandey before the committee.
The decision was taken after it was cited that Professor Pandey has been uncooperative in the proceedings of the committee leading to delay in the proceedings.
