In a major setback for the BJP in Manipur, Former Outer Manipur MP Kim Gangte joined the NPP on Friday, after resigning from the BJP.
Gangte shifted her allegiance as she was denied ticket by the BJP to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Kim Gangte was inducted into the NPP’s fold by party Chief Conrad Sangma during the electioneering for NPP Candidate from Outer Manipur Thangmienlen Kipgen in Churachanpur District of Manipur.
