Former Assam special DGP, Pallab Bhattacharya has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).
The former top cop served as the additional director general of Assam Police.
He is also a member of the high-level committee on clause 6 of the Assam Accord.
Meanwhile, former IAS officer – Sanjeev Gohain and academician Niranjan Kalita have also been appointed as new members of the APSC.
