In what is being dubbed as the last meeting before the October 31 deadline, a crucial meeting between the Government of India and the NSCN-IM is underway in New Delhi.
The meeting between both the sides comes following the inconclusive October 24 discussion.
While the NSCN-IM has been adamant on its demand for a separate flag and constitution, the Government of India has made it clear that there can be no discussion on these two issues.
On the other hand, the meeting of the Naga Civil Society groups at the Japfu hotel in Kohima has been postponed in the wake of the developments and will only take place after the discussion between the NSCN-IM and Government of India besides talks with the NNPGs tomorrow is over.
