The members of the High Level Committee to look into implementation of Clause 6 of the Assam Accord led by Justice Retired Biplab Kumar Sarma called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Monday.

The meeting between Amit Shah and the panel members started at around 10 am in the morning.

During the cordial meet, Shah suggested that legal experts from within the committee should have a meeting with the Attorney General and Solicitor General of India to discuss legal matters pertaining to the draft report.

The team on arrival to Guwahati will brief other members of the committee on the minutes of meeting, on January 16.
