A day after KSU set up infiltration check gates at three districts, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that everybody is a citizen of this country and the KSU also did what they thought they should but this is the task and job of the government and therefore it would not be appropriate for non government agencies to involve in this process.

Talking about security measures, Sangma said that the government have set up different check points at different location and he is personally monitoring the situation and is constantly in touch with the DC’s and SP’s of vulnerable districts.
