Cheers! Makers of Mizoram’s Isabella wine signs MoU with Delhi-based sales company

Isabella will now be available outside Mizoram and the move is expected to boost sale and production of the locally made wine

In a significant step towards boosting the regional economy and promoting local products on a broader scale, the Hnahlan Grape Farming & Processing Co-Op Society Ltd and RR Sales, Delhi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the distribution and sales of the locally produced Isabella wine outside Mizoram.

The Chairman of the Co-Op Society, C. Vanlalhriata, signed the MoU on behalf of the society. For RR Sales, New Delhi, V. Lalrindika, Director of Business Development, was the signatory on their end.

The MoU signing was attended by H. Rammawi, Vice Chairman of the Mizoram State Planning Board, and Dr. ZR Thiamsanga, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Champhai North. This collaboration holds the potential to significantly contribute to the socioeconomic development of the region while also establishing Isabella wine as a quality product in the national market.
