Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express Derails in Gonda, UP; 4 feared dead, 7 injured

Five to six coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailed at Gonda in Uttar Pradesh at around 4:36 PM today

Five to six coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailed at Gonda in Uttar Pradesh at around 4:36 PM today. Four person died and 7 are injured, Pankaj Singh, CPRO, North Eastern Railway said.

Train No. 15904 was traveling from Chandigarh to Dibrugarh. The medical van and doctors of the Railways has already reached the accident site and relief and rescue operations is underway.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is constantly monitoring the situation.
