In Assam’s Cachar district, the vaccination drive for children was inaugurated at Narshing Higher Secondary school in Silchar. The programme was attended by MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy along with other officials of the Health Department.
The vaccination drive was also carried out at DNNK school and Govt Boys’ Higher Secondary school.
Over 1 lakh, 13 thousand,139 students will be vaccinated under the age group of 15-18 in Cachar during the inoculation drive.
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma who is in Oil town Duliajan for two day SP’s conference kick-started the vaccination drive here at OIL Higher Secondary School.
In Guwahati vaccination started in 15 schools in the city as the inoculation drive against Covid-19 begins began in 500 schools across the state.
