Students in Bodoland University are staging massive protests demanding appointment of a permanent vice-chancellor. Agitating students alleged that Hemanta Kumar Baruah had done nothing for the upliftment of the university
Students in Bodoland University are staging massive protests demanding appointment of a permanent vice-chancellor.
Agitating students alleged that Hemanta Kumar Baruah had done nothing for the upliftment of the university during his year tenure.
Inspite of this the Assam government extended Baruah’s tenure as the acting vice chancellor of the university triggering reactions.
The agitating students warned of intensifying their indefinite protest if their demands are not addressed at the earliest.
