Addressing an election rally at Fakiragram in Kokrajhar district, Sarma said, “BJP will single-handedly form the government in Kokrajhar.”

The minister also took on Hagrama Mohilary-led Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) for widespread corruption and anomalies in the government schemes.

He promised that such irregularities would come to an end if the BJP comes into power in the BTC.

The campaign for the second phase of the BTC elections ended today. Kokrajhar and Chirang district will go to polls on December 10. Udalguri and Baksa district voted in the first phase on December 7. The votes will be counted on December 12.
