Dr Bezbarua 2 is directed by renowned Late Actor Nipon Goswami and stars popular actor Adil Hussain and singer-composer-actor-director Zubeen Garg among others

In a proud moment for Assam, Dr Bezbarua 2 became the first Assamese film to gross Rs one crore in three days.
This has set a record in the Assamese industry, marking a huge milestone accomplished by an Assamese film in the Assamese film industry’s 88 year history.
Taking to Twitter, renowned actor Adil Hussain, wrote, “3 fantastic Good News. Our films:
Alphabetically – 1. Assamese Film Crosses 1crore Mark in the History of Assamese Cinema in 3 Days. 2. #EngishVinglish Releasing in China in 6000 Screens on 24th of February, Chinese Poster 👇. And the #TheStoryTeller wins Best film. Details 👇”.

Previously, the actor shared a post on social media and wrote, “BIGGEST, so far, in the history of Assamese collections on the opening night of Dr Bezbarua. Thank you so much for showering your love on us.”Have you watched it yet?’

Dr Bezbarua 2 is a sequel of Doctor Bezbaruah that was directed by Late Brajen Baruah and was released in 1969. It is still one of Assam’s biggest thriller films with some amazingly fun, foot-tapping music.

In Dr Bezbarua 2, the lead roles are played by Adil Hussain and Zubeen Garg. Also in the movie are Siddharth Nipon Goswami and Kinkini Bhattacharya, son and daughter-in-law of the legendary Assamese actor Nipon Goswami who directed the film and he had played the lead role in the original Dr Bezbarua. Unfortunately, Nipon Goswami passed away just days before the release of Dr Bezbarua 2.
