The Assam Police has launched a helpline number for the people who are stranded outside the state during the ongoing 21-day nationwide lockdown in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.

The stranded people can reach out to Assam Police through a WhatsApp number—9435215029.

Police will try to help the people in their ordeal if they mention their names, address, and places where they are stranded.
