Assam HSLC Result 2019 declared: Lakhimpur’s Meghashree Borah tops Class 10 results

The results for the High School Leaving Certificate examination 2019 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam were declared on Wednesday.

Lakhimpur girl Meghashree Borah of Sankardev Sishu Bidya Niketan has come out on top by scoring an outstanding 594 out of 600.

Chinmoy Hazarika of Jorhat’s Don Bosco High School and Pratyasha Medhi of Saint Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Guwahati jointly bagged the second position.

The third rank has also been shared by two students – Afreen Ahmed from Nagaon’s Christ Jyoti School and Anushree Bhuyan from Saint Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Guwahati.

A total of 39 candidates figured in the list of ten rank holders, the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) that conducts the HSLC examinations.

The overall pass percentage has been recorded at 60.23 percent, an increase of 4% from the previous year’s results.
