In a major accident that took place in Assam’s Sivasagar district, four members of a single family got seriously injured on the spot.
An i-10 car which was speeding down the National Highway at Demow lost control and fell down from the side of the road into a gorge.
The injured persons have been identified as Dipankar Borthakur, Lakshmipriya Borthakur, Aparna Sharma and Loknath Borthakur.
The family was reportedly returning from Dergaon from a marriage reception. All the injured have been admitted at the Dergaon Civil Hospital.
