Assam: Darrang College girl attacked with sharp object by masked miscreants

The victim is a first semester student of Political Science at the Darrang College
In yet another shocking incident of crime, a girl was allegedly attacked with a sharp object by a group of masked miscreants in Tezpur under Sonitpur district of Assam.
Nimisha Bora, first semester student of Political Science at the Darrang College recieved serious injuries on her right hand in the attack. She was taken to hospital and currently her condition is said to be stable.
She stays at a rented house in Tezpur.
The incident happened on Thursday, August 17, evening.
Speaking to media, students of the college, said that Nimisha Bora along with her friends was going somwhere when a group of masked miscreants approached them and attacked her with a sharp knife.
The students union of the college has filed a complaint with the Mahabhairab Police Station reagirding this and urged the police to nab the culprits at the earliest and give the victim justice.
