Assam: ADTU introduces upgraded MBA in Healthcare Management

The Department of Management of AdtU inaugurated the new and upgraded programme of MBA in Healthcare Management last Tuesday on a grand scale.
The field of healthcare has undergone a sea-change in the last decade. Students pursuing healthcare management, therefore, need to be adequately upgraded.
In this scenario, the Department of Management of AdtU inaugurated the new and upgraded programme of MBA in Healthcare Management last Tuesday on a grand scale.
This upgraded programme will provide the much-needed inputs and a comprehensive learning environment with the latest changes and advancements in this field.
The upgraded course structure will provide theoretical and practical training to prepare the students for various support services in the health sector and develop conceptual skills for planning, policy formulation, resource utilization, material management and legal issues.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was the Honourable Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Science & Technology, and Information Technology, Govt. of Assam – Shri Keshab Mahanta. The other guests of honour were the Mission Director, National Health Mision (NHM), Assam – Dr MS Lakshmi Priya, IAS; and the Principal cum Chief Superintendent, GMCH – Prof (Dr) Achyut Ch Baishya.
The event was also graced by the presence of Dr NN Dutta, Chancellor, AdtU, Dr N C Talukdar, Vice Chancellor, AdtU, Dr Udayan Barua, Medical Superintendent, downtown Hospital; Dr Seema Sharma, Dean of Management, AdtU, and the Professors and administrative officers of various departments of the University.
