A total of 14 candidates are in the fray. 8 contesting for the Arunachal West seat, while 6 are contesting for the Arunachal East seat 

ARUNACHAL PRADESH LOK SABHA DETAILS 

  1. VOTER TURNOUT 

2024 – 77.51% 

2019 –83.35% 

Voter Turnout for Arunachal East – 83.31%  

Arunachal West – 73.60%

  • 14 candidates in the fray 
  • 8 contesting for the Arunachal West seat 
  • 6 are contesting for the Arunachal East seat 

3. Arunachal West Key Candidates –  

  • Union Earth Sciences minister Kiren Rijiju and Arunachal Congress President Nabam Tuki. Tuki is former Arunachal CM and 6-time Sagalee MLA. He is the sitting MLA of Sagalee. Tuki is the lone Congress MLA of Arunachal. Also in the race is Techi Rana contesting as an Independent. According people following the Arunachal elections, Rana might end up cutting a few votes.

1.Sitting MP Tapir Gao, BJP 

  • 2-time Arunachal East MP 

2.Bosiram Siram of Cong 

  • 2-time Pasighat East MLA 
  •  Fmr Education minister of Arunachal 
  • Also in the race is Bandey Mili of the Arunachal Democratic Party
