The long-standing aspiration of the people of Ziro Valley to have their administration will be fulfilled
Arunachal Pradesh is all set to announce a new district – Keyi Panyor, Chief Minister, Pema Khandu said after the conclusion of his two-day tour of the 16-Yachuli Assembly constituency.
However, the final approval for the creation of the new district will be considered when the state government receives a well-defined proposal with earmarked boundaries, a site for headquarters and other required infrastructure along with the unanimous consent of all stakeholders.
Once approved, the long-standing aspiration of the people of Ziro Valley to have their administration will also be fulfilled.
“Concluding my 2-day tour of the 16-Yachuli Assembly constituency, I am delighted to share that in response to overwhelming demand, we are ready to create a new district – Keyi Panyor – by bifurcating Lower Subansiri. However, the final approval for creation of the new district will be considered when we receive a well-defined proposal with earmarked boundaries, site for headquarters and other required infrastructure along with unanimous consent of all stakeholders. Once approved, the long-standing aspiration of the people of Ziro Valley to have their own administration will also be fulfiled. We are committed to ensure a win-win situation for all.” posted CM Khandu on X.
