Karatekas from the Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate-Do Association (APAKA) achieved remarkable success at the KIO All India Sub-Junior National Karate Championship 2024, held in New Delhi. The team brought home six medals: three gold, one silver, and two bronze, showcasing their exceptional skill and determination.
The medalists—Nido Jirnia, Vaishnavi Chauhan, Jon Mara, Zenith Mize, Eshana Ngadong, and Tanisi Appa showed outstanding performances in their respective categories, earning national acclaim for Arunachal Pradesh.
This remarkable achievement highlights the rising prominence of karate in the state, reflecting the dedication of the athletes and the steadfast support of APAKA. Their success not only brings pride to Arunachal but also inspires the next generation of karate enthusiasts.
Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu also took to X and congratulated the players. He wrote, “Promising kids, a true assurance of our bright sporting future!
