Governor BD Mishra on Thursday administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Information Commissioners of the Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) and members of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) during a cceremony on Thursday.

Genom Tekseng, Sonam Yudron and Gumjum  Haider have been appointed as Information Commissioners of the APIC, while Major General (Retd) Jarken Gamlin has been appointed as a member of the APPSC.

Interacting with the members of APPSC and APIC, the governor said that their dedicated efforts will help develop the state.

Along with other dignitaries, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, First Lady Neelam Mishra, speaker and Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly and Home Minister Bamang Felix were present in the programme.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pema Khandu taking to Twitter extended his best wishes to the newly appointed members of State Information Commission.

“Congratulations to Shri Genom Tekseng Ji, Ms Sonam Yudron Ji and Shri Gumjum Haider Ji on taking oath today as Information Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission. Hon’ble Guv Brig (Dr) BD Mishra Ji (Retd) administered the oath. My best wishes to all!,” Khandu tweeted
