The Arunachal Pradesh Government has handed over the Toko Yame case to CBI.

This latest development follows widespread protest in the State demanding the handing over of the case to the CBI.

It may be mentioned that Toko Yame was a 16 year old student whose decomposed body was recovered by a search team in September 2017 from the periphery of Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya in Tawang.
