Continuing the war on drugs in Manipur, Imphal Police seized Amphetamine tablets worth over Rs 14 crore which were being transported to Guwahati.
A team of Imphal West Police Commando, under the supervision of SP Imphal West, intercepted the consignment from Kanglatombi Santipur area.
Altogether, 1 lakh 40 thousand tablets, estimated to be over Rs 14 crore in the international market, were seized from two trucks.
The police team also nabbed three individuals, who were later identified as Mohammad Akhan (24), Mohammad Yunush (29) and Mohammad Mustakin (28) all from Thoubal district of Manipur.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway.
