The second round of relay hunger strike has begun at the Manipur University premises by the agitators over the ongoing campaign demanding for the removal of Vice Chancellor Adya Prasad Pandey.
The second round of hunger strike has begun today after internet services got resumed yesterday at about 10:30 pm after being snapped in the state for a period of five days.
The hunger strike also comes in after a meeting was held yesterday between the agitating memberrs of MUSU, MUSA and MUTA and Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
While no conclusion could be reached at during the meeting, the agitators put forward their demands in front of the state government so that the impasse can be solved once and for all.
