After 78 Years, Pipsorang Finally Gets Road Connectivity; CM Pema Khandu Announces Over Rs. 44 Crore for Tali Region Development

Pipsorang, a remote village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tali constituency, has achieved a historic milestone with road connectivity being established for the first time in 78 years. Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the news in a post on X, commending the collaborative efforts of MLA Jikke Tako, the Rural Works Department (RWD), local administration, and contractors.
“This is not just a dream realized but also a promise fulfilled,” wrote Khandu on X. He called upon all stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the full 55 km Tali-Pipsorang road project, highlighting the importance of sustained efforts to bring development to the region.
Several infrastructure projects worth Rs. 515 crore, primarily focused on improving road networks in the Tali constituency, are currently underway. Building on this momentum, CM Khandu announced additional sanctions of Rs. 44.50 crore to further accelerate development initiatives in the area.
The new funds will be utilised to enhance connectivity and promote economic growth in one of Arunachal Pradesh’s most isolated regions. The milestone is being celebrated as a testament to the state government’s commitment to bridging developmental gaps in far-flung areas.
