Indian Army rescues and rehabilitates locals struck by lightening in Dibang Valley

The Dao Division of the Indian Army under aegis of Spear Corps carried out rescue operations and subsequently provided first aid to a group of 6 locals who were struck by lightning on September 21 and suffered critical burn injuries. As per reports, the victims were aerially evacuated from the Dibang valley and taken to the military hospital. Two army helicopters were mobilised during the operation.
