KNA (I) commander-in-chief apprehended in Mizoram

In a huge success for the security forces in Mizoram, the Aizawl Battalion of the Assam Rifles apprehended a Commander-in-chief of the KNA (I) operating in Zemabawk-Thuampui area on Thursday.

In a huge success for the security forces in Mizoram, the Aizawl Battalion of the Assam Rifles apprehended a Commander-in-chief of the KNA (I) operating in Zemabawk-Thuampui area on Thursday.

The operation was conducted by a joint team of Assam Rifles personnel and 11 WEU based on intelligence inputs about the presence of the KNA (I) cadre in the area.

The militant has been identified as Nehjang Haokip. He was later handed over to the Bawngkawn Police for further investigation.
