The all important meeting between the Civil society leaders of Manipur under the banner of COCOMI and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held Tuesday night ended on an inconclusive note.
However, COCOMI leaders have maintained that the talks were satisfactory.
The meeting was facilitated by the State government with a view to allay apprehensions among pressure groups to calm the nerves in Manipur over the Naga Peace Talks.
The only contention of Manipur is that whatever the outcome of the process in Nagaland, the territorial integrity and administrative set up of the state should remain untouched.
An 18-member team called on the Union Home Minister last night accompanied by Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
