The injured boy was rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital but he had died by then.
In a horrific incident reported from Kalibari Char area of Silchar town, a 12-year old killed his friend, also a 12-year-old child, by stabbing him with an umbrella on the forehead. According to reports, both the child were playing in front of their house with few other children.
