It was an all-round performance by Team India as they thrashed rivals Sri Lanka by eight wickets to lift the 7th Asia Cup title. Bowler Renuka Singh scalped 5 wickets by just giving away 3 runs to put India in a commanding position.
The Lankan team could score only 65 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana who top-scored for India and remained unbeaten at 51 of 25 balls while chasing a paltry target of 66 runs.
