Addressing a mega rally in Raima Valley constituency, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, that the TIPRA Motha is misleading the indigenous tribal people.
People’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is a Man on a Mission especially in view of the ensuing Tripura assembly elections.
Addressing a mega rally in Raima Valley constituency, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, that the TIPRA Motha is misleading the indigenous tribal people.
Speaking on his meeting with Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, the NEDA convenor and the Assam Chief Minister said,”The TIPRA Motha is misleading the indigenous tribal people. TIPRA Motha(Pradyot Kishore Debbarma) spoke to me in Delhi, we had called TIPRA Motha, I myself spoke to Maharaj for a week and asked him what do tou want. He replied that I want a Greater Tipraland. I said look we are ready to give you everything, but he said that he wanted only wanted TIPRALAND. But now since election process has begun he is not uttering a single word on Greater Tipraland.”
While highlighting the BJP’s push for the welfare of everyone, Himanta Biswa Sarma asked those present in the rally, “Can TIPRA Motha can give you free rice? Can TIPRA Motha give you free gas connection. Can TIPRA Motha avail free treatment for you in the government hospitals.”
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also higlighted the BJP’s push for the development of the tribal people as he referred to Assam’s context.
Sarma said,”Our Tripura will march ahead, Tripura will experience massive development. I can assure You about this. We also have tribal people in Assam like the Bodos, Karbis, Misings besides. After BJP came to power in Assam, the tribals now have no problems. We have resolved problems of the tribals withing a shot span (2 years). The rebels representing the tribals have now joined the mainstream, they have deposited the arms and ammunition. But, why did they do so. I have an answer to this because they are happy with the BJP, since the tribals are availing jobs, development is happening in the tribal areas and most importantly they are availing land rights.”
The dynamic Chief Minister who is also the NEDA convenor was seen addressing multiple rallies to drum up support for Ampinagar candidate Patal Kanya Jamatia and Raima Valley candidate Bikash Chakma.
