PM Modi to chair crucial NDA meet today: 10 parties from Northeast to take part

The meeting is a significant one since BJP and its allies in the Northeast are gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a crucial meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the run up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
10 political parties in Northeast which are constituents of the NDA as well as the Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA) will be taking part in the meeting. The meeting which is scheduled to begin at 5PM will be held at Hotel Ashoka in the national capital.
The 10 political parties from the Northeast include AGP, UPPL and BPF from Assam; NPP and UDP from Meghalaya; NDPP and NPF from Nagaland, SKM and SDF from Sikkim and the ruling MNF from Mizoram.
AGP president and Assam Cabinet minister Atul Bora shared his thoughts ahead of the all important meeting and said,”This will be a very important meeting. Lok Sabha polls are very close. PM Narendra Modi, in the last 9 years, has been carrying forward developmental activities with remarkable achievement. So, the wind is favourable for NDA across the country.”
