Prime Minister Modi said that the party has not only been "against national security" but also the development of the country.

Congress has not only been “against national security” but also the development of the country. This what Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while he sounded the BJP‘s poll bugle in Himachal Pradesh by addressing multiple mammoth rallies.

Addressing his first election rally in Mandi, the Prime Minister raised the issue of defence deals during the Congress regime at the Centre and said that the party always “wanted a commission” in everydeal.

PM Modi stated this to be the main factor, which led to the delay in the procurement of weapons for the armed forces.

Besides, PM Modi also accused the Congress of making “false promises” and giving “false guarantees.” The Prime Minister also added that the Grand Old Party never gave priority to the development of the hill state.
