The Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Mysuru this morning and entered Srirangapatna in Karnataka's Mandya district.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi arrived in Mysore this afternoon for the party’s ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka.

According to sources, Sonia Gandhi is likely to join the yatra when it resumes after a two-day break. This will be the first time the current Congress chief will be joining the yatra.

The Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Mysuru this morning and entered Srirangapatna in Karnataka’s Mandya district.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi delivered one of the highlights of the Bharat Jodo Yatra so far. Rahul Gandhi delivered a speech amid a heavy downpour, and visuals of him addressing party workers, drenched in rain, went viral.

The Wayanad MP shared the video with a caption, “No one can stop us from uniting India. No one can stop us from raising the voice of India. No one can stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra from going from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.”

Notably, the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on September 7 from Kanyakumari, has already completed 624 km and is currently in Karnataka’s Mysuru. After today’s leg, the yatra will resume on October 6 after a two-day break due to festivals.

The yatra has entered a crucial phase with the Karnataka leg as the state goes to polls next year. This is the first time it is passing through a BJP-ruled state.
