Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Neha Kakkar, others to face ED summons in Mahadev betting case

Bollywood actors and singers including Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Elli AvrRam are likely to be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) who is investigating the Mahadev Book app’s online betting scam.
Some of the other actors and singers who are likely to get the summon are Bharti Singh, Bhagyashree, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek, Sukhwinder Singh.
All these actors and singer reportedly attended the wedding ceremony of Mahadev Book app promoter, Sourabh Chandrakar, in UAE, in February 2023.
The Mahadev Book app, an online betting platform, is currently being investigated by the ED and multiple state police departments.
According to digital evidence collected by the ED, approximately Rs 112 crore was transferred through hawala channels to an event management company. Additionally, payments amounting to Rs 42 crore for hotel bookings were reportedly made in cash.
An investigation is underway about the success party of the app, which was organised by Chandrakar and the app’s second promoter, Ravi Uppal, in September last year.
This event too saw the attendance of numerous Bollywood actors and singers, who are currently under the scrutiny of the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Sources said that the Bollywood celebs received cash payments through hawala from event management firms, for both the events.
They also said a ‘top’ actor had been roped in for the app’s success party this year and was paid in crores by the event agency.
The company was running operations from Dubai and was allegedly using the online book betting application to enrol new users, create user IDs and launder money through a layered web of benami bank accounts.
