Former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly is set to arrive in Agartala on Monday to finalize a deal with the state government to become the Brand Ambassador for Tripura Tourism, announced Tripura’s Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury today.

The strategic partnership aims to strengthen Tripura’s tourism credentials by using Ganguly’s widespread popularity to attract visitors.

Subsequently, Ganguly will participate in a photo shoot at two historical sites – Chobimura and Ujjayanta Palace – the following day.
