Saurav Ganguly to become Brand Ambassador for Tripura Tourism

The iconic cricketer, fondly referred to as Dada, is scheduled to sign the agreement at Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala.

Former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly is set to arrive in Agartala on Monday to finalize a deal with the state government to become the Brand Ambassador for Tripura Tourism, announced Tripura’s Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury today.

The strategic partnership aims to strengthen Tripura’s tourism credentials by using Ganguly’s widespread popularity to attract visitors.

The iconic Cricketer, fondly referred to as dada, is scheduled to arrive in the evening, with the agreement signing taking place at Ujjayanta Palace.

Subsequently, Ganguly will participate in a photo shoot at two historical sites – Chobimura and Ujjayanta Palace – the following day.

Earlier this year, a delegation, led by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, visited Ganguly at his residence in Kolkata to discuss and extend the ambassadorship offer.
