Pradyot during his exclusive conversation with Northeast Live said that he is a misfit in the Royal family
Is Tripura Royal Scion and TIPRA Motha supremo Pradyot Debbarma planning to quit politics in six months? Well that is what the 45-year-old royal said on Thursday, days after successfully signing the much awaited Tiprasa Accord and joining hands with the ruling BJP for the benefit of his Tiprasa people.
In an exclusive interview with Northeast Live after two of the Tipra Motha leaders, Animesh Debbarma and Brishaketu Debbarma joined the Manik Saha-led BJP government in Tripura, Pradyot said that he intends call it quite six months after the Lok Sabha elections and also delete all his social media accounts.
When asked that once he had said that when things are in the right place he would quit politics, Pradyot said, “I think 6 months after the Lok Sabha election is the right time. I want to delete all my FB, Instagram, Twitter and completely disappear from the public. There is nothing like peace of mind. Peace of mind can only happen when you give something unconditionally. I know I a misfit in the Royal family. I do not behave like other Royals, maybe I show too much love and affection. But then I would rather live in the hearts of the people, than live in a Palace all by myself. I have loved my people and I continue to love them.”
Earlier, Deb Barma had said that he would give up the palace and go and live with his people, live in their hearts.
