10 Rohingyas, 2 Bangladeshis arrested at Agartala railway station

The foreign nationals who had entered India without any valid travel document, was planning to go to Kolkata and then to Jammu
Acting on a tip-off, the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested 10 Rohingyas and 2 Bangladeshi nationals from the Agartala rail station on Saturday.
The foreign nationals were travelling with fake Aadhar cards and did not have any valid travel documents. The illegal immigrants were planning to board the Kanchanjunga Express for Kolkata and move to Jammu from there.
The GRP had earlier detained 16 people including three children.
One Indian agent or middleman, Abhijit Deb and who helped them to procure fake AADHAR cards and rail tickets was also arrested.
A case has been registered against them for entering Indian territory without any legal documents.
So far just in the month of February, 33 foreign nationals, mostly Rohingyas, who came from their camp in Chittagong in Bangladesh, have been arrested from the Agartala rail station.
