SKM gears up for LS Polls 2024: Kisan Morcha, holds meet with women’s SHGs in Gangtok

With an eye on the Lok Sabha Elections set to take place next year, brisk politicking has begun with the ruling party, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), using their full power to woo the voters in the 2024 Assembly Election and emerge victorious.
As part of the preparations, the frontal organisation of SKM, Kisan Morcha, held a meeting with the women’s self-help groups of Gangtok today at the Mini Hall of Manan Kendra in Gangtok.
Vice President of Kisan Morcha and Minister of Agriculture and Horticulture Department, Lok Nath Sharma, was present as the chief guest in the meeting.
During the meeting, Sharma presented many equipment’s to the SHGs and also discussed strategies to win the elections.
Minister Lok Nath Sharma said that the government has been working for the development of farmers and rural development and therefore appealed to support the SKM party in the upcoming elections.
Addressing the gathering, the President of Kisan Morcha, Padam Sharma, also said that the government has been working for the growth of farmers.
