Sikkim CM PS Tamang reshuffles his cabinet; change in portfolios of 3 ministers

Newly inducted Minister Bishnu Kumar Khatiwada has been given charge of Culture & Heritage, Printing & Stationary Dept

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang today made changes to the portfolios of three of his cabinet ministers.

Education Minister Kunga Nima Lepcha has been given the additional charge of the Health Department.
Worth mentioning here that after Mani Kumar Sharma resigned as the Health Minister in February this year after accusing the government of mishandling the domicile issue of the Sikkimese Nepali community, Chief Minister Tamang had kept the Health portfolio with him.

In other changes, Tourism Minister Bedu Singh Panth has been given the additional charge of the IT deparment.

Roads and Bridges minister Samdup Lepcha has been given the additional charge of Sports and Youth Affairs.

Bishnu Kumar Khatiwada who was inducted into the cabinet on Friday was given charge of the Culture & Heritage, Printing & Stationary Department.
