Assam govt begins evacuation of Assam students stranded in deluge hit Sikkim

The students will leave on a bus today morning via Kalimpong, West Bengal
The Assam government is beginning its evacuation process today to bring back home the stranded students from deluge-hit Sikkim.
Students from Sikkim University, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Central Referral Hospital (CRH), and Himalayan Pharmacy Institute will be heading back to Assam amid the present situation in Sikkim.
Under the leadership of the Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), Megha Nidhi Dahal, two officers from Assam will be accompanying the students on their return journey to Assam.
The students are leaving on a bus today morning via Kalimpong, West Bengal.
